Engineering Scholarships for New Freshmen

The scholarship program for entering freshmen is highly competitive.  Merit and financial need will be considered. Fall 2017 Freshmen admitted to the Clark School will be automatically considered for any Clark School scholarships available to first year students.

Students are strongly encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the University of Maryland deadline of February 15th.  Students are also encouraged to apply for non-UM engineering scholarships (see Additional Scholarships.)

Scholarship award letters from the Clark School will go out in early April.  The Admissions Office will send out award letters for campus merit scholarships and the Financial Aid Office will send out notices for other financial aid including need-based aid.
